Jefferson Mooney recognizes friend by donation to the Ben Hogan and Henry House Foundations

October 25, 2013 – During the Friday Night Whites Gala on October 25th, Jefferson Mooney, a Founding Patron of the Ben Hogan Foundation, generously donated $25,000 to the two foundations in honor of Mr. Roger T. Neely. Specifically, Mr. Neely was recognized for his service on the Board of Directors of The First Tee of Fort Worth, his fundraising in The First Tee golf marathon, his volunteerism at Fort Hood for the Ben Hogan Foundation, and his financial support of both charities.

With this donation, the Ben Hogan Foundation has began working with representatives from The First Tee of Fort Worth to institute several programs next year that will help First Tee participants and their parents deal with everything associated with transitioning from High School to college. “This is going to be a very exciting new program and something that will truly make a difference in the lives of the program’s participants” said Stennett, the Executive Director of the Ben Hogan Foundation.
