CAMP BRONCHO
The Ben Hogan Foundation is very pleased to announce a gift to Cook Children's Medical Center benefiting Camp Broncho of North Texas. Organized by Cook Children's and Children’s Medical Center of Dallas, Camp Broncho is a unique camping venture that allows youngsters from throughout North Texas who suffer from acute asthma the opportunity to be a kid for a week. Camp Broncho is the only camp of its kind in North Texas.
The Foundation’s gift will will fund all 120 children to attend this year’s camp who otherwise would not have been able to do so. In addition to enjoying camping, hiking, games, and other fun events, these children will learn to manage their disease and to improve their quality of life.
Giving a kid the opportunity to be a kid and enjoy what all of us take for granted means a great deal to the Ben Hogan Foundation. It is something that Mr. Hogan would have been proud to support. It is our sincere hope that this is just the start of a relationship between Cook Children's and the Ben Hogan Foundation. We hope that the Foundation’s support of Cook Children's and other organizations providing for children’s healthcare and welfare will continue to grow as the Ben Hogan Foundation grows.
